About Navin

Navin is a multidisciplinary practitioner whose work bridges counselling, music therapy, movement, and creative expression. He is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Board Certified Music Therapist (BMT), certified Yoga Teacher (250-hour YTT), and practicing artist. A second-generation Indo-Canadian with ancestral roots in India, Navin was born and raised in Canada and now lives and works in Vancouver, BC. His professional path is grounded in a deep commitment to service and community care.

His approach is shaped not only by formal education and clinical experience, but also by cultural lineage, mentorship, community wisdom, and lived experience. Navin views the therapeutic relationship as a meaningful and reciprocal process; one that requires presence, humility, and respect. To accompany someone through healing and self-discovery is, in his view, a profound responsibility and privilege.

Within the healthcare system, Navin has supported individuals navigating addictions and complex mental health challenges. He has also facilitated workshops, retreats, and community wellness gatherings focused on the therapeutic application of music and sound. His work explores how rhythm, resonance, and creative expression can support nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and overall well-being.

Navin’s personal journey has included periods of deep questioning, grief, and disconnection. Through engaging both contemporary clinical approaches and traditional healing practices, he has experienced the transformative potential of intentional inner work. These experiences continue to inform his compassionate, integrative approach.

He holds a strong belief that tending to our pain with awareness and care can expand our capacity for connection, meaning, and joy. His work is rooted in the understanding that healing is not about perfection, but about returning to wholeness.
